In 2023, I curated August’s Late at Tate Britain responding to queer filmmaker Isaac Julien's
retrospective exhibition.
“Immerse yourself in a world of fantasy in this August Late at Tate. This event will expand on themes of desire, culture and history, celebrating Isaac Julien’s first UK retrospective and his work in queer cinema. Through this meticilously designed programme, we’re exploring how Julien built worlds by weaving through time and space to depict unheard stories. Expect an evening of music, performance and workshops and reflect on themes of theatre, movement, and distortion of spaces.”
